Anthony is an accomplished and commercially orientated senior manager with over twenty years experience in a variety of management roles of increasing scope and responsibility.
In 1998 he founded and was CEO of high technology firm Net Results which was acquired by Integrity Software in 1999.
He was Global Business Development Director for eWare, a developer of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software which was aquired by Sage in 2003. In eWare, Anthony managed the organisations growth into Japan, North America and Europe and worked on many major international eCommerce and CRM projects.
Prior Xanthal, Anthony was CEO of iQuate, an Irish based IT Compliance and Asset Management software solutions provider, where he helped them raise US$1 in funding.
Anthony skills are in helping organizations to develop and implement Sales & Marketing strategies and plans. Anthony gets involved at the business planning stage through to the closing of sales.
Some of the specific activities in which Anthony has been involved include:
î Developing and implementing Marketing plans to bring Irish technology companies into the Irish, UK and European markets
Managing PR campaigns. î Raising US$1m for start up software company î Running major outsourced eMail marketing campaigns î Negotiating a number of OEM agreements on behalf of his own and third party companies (for example, arranged for the global launch of a complex software product, re-branded, through a third party)
î Identifying and engaging channel partners across Europe for a CRM company î Finding and closing deals in excess of €10 million in Japan and North America. î Hiring and managing sales teams î Anthony has been directly involved in the launch of a range of products and services (from launching various versions of Windows for Microsoft through to launching a company)
î Rapidly built revenues for growing companiesAnthony is currently CEO of Xanthal, a Business Development Company which focuses on helping client organizations in the area of Sales and Marketing. Specifically, Anthony works with companies to help them to develop their marketing plans and strategies and then assists in the implementation of these plans.
Prior to founding Net Results, Anthony was Sales & Marketing Director at Ireland OnLine and was responsible for the business transformation of Ireland OnLine from a purely consumer driven company to a provider of a wide range of B2B services to the SME community.
From 1992 to 1996, Anthony held a number of key senior positions with the Microsoft Corporation and was responsible for al sales and marketing activities, which included the launch of all of Microsoft’s major products in Ireland. Anthony has further responsibility for the development and growth of Microsoft’s channel business as well as the SME market throughout Ireland and UK.
